Sylvia Peters helps nonprofits and for-profit businesses strengthen operations, manage projects, and turn priorities into measurable results. Through Impact5 Consulting, she brings practical experience in grant administration, compliance, disaster recovery, partnership development, and community outreach.

A Sarasota resident for 30 years, Sylvia understands the local relationships, trust, and consistent follow-through needed to move projects forward. Her work spans Sarasota, the historic Newtown community, Manatee County, and DeSoto County, where she has served both behind the scenes and as a public-facing partner.

Her experience includes administering programs under FEMA, HUD, CDBG, and SHIP requirements, supporting construction rehabilitation and economic development initiatives, and managing community grants and peer support program operations.

Sylvia combines field experience with project management training, Salesforce experience, and practical use of AI tools to improve workflows. Human review, sound judgment, and accountability remain central to her approach.

She serves on the Sarasota County Community Action Agency Advisory Board and volunteers with local nonprofits serving communities in need. Across every engagement, her focus is on building sustainable systems and helping organizations put their plans into action.
